Windana Youth Community House (WYCH)

    Provides a safe, supportive drug and alcohol residential withdrawal environment for young people aged 12–21 years. Working within a multidisciplinary model, WYCH provides both a medicated and non-medicated withdrawal together with complementary therapies: naturopathy, vitamin supplements and reiki. The daily program includes individual case management, educational groups, music, art therapy, recreational activities and being involved in daily lifeskills. The program’s principles are: respect, support, flexibility and fun.

        All clients are reviewed by the Windana Admissions Team for approval to proceed into the residential unit. Every effort will be made to facilitate an admission however in the interest of the young person there are some factors that may prohibit admission.

      • Who can refer

        - Service providers; general practicitioners/doctors; the young person; or family members can contact the Windana Admissions Team at Head Office to begin the referral process.
