Development of the Positive Pathways Project
Dandenong–Cardinia–Casey Online Youth Services Directory
In 2014 a strategic partnership was formed to develop an online resource tool for young people, families, schools and professionals to be able to navigate the youth service systems within the City of Greater Dandenong, Cardinia Shire and City of Casey. The Positive Pathways Project Partnership is represented by:
- Local Government Youth Services at Greater Dandenong, Cardinia and Casey Councils
- Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS)
- South East Local Learning and Employment Network (SELLEN)
- Connections UnitingCare
- Monash Health Community
- School Focused Youth Service program, Department of Education and Training
The Positive Pathways Project is a School Focused Youth Service initiative funded by the Victorian Government through the Department of Education and Training (DET). Connections and Monash Health, auspiced by DET, have provided funding to make it easier for schools and community services to link young people, and their families, in with the most appropriate support services.

There are many services for young people and families within the City of Greater Dandenong, Cardinia Shire and the City of Casey. This directory brings local service level information together in the one place. It aims to assist young people, families, schools and agencies by improving awareness of and accessibility to services available to young people and their families across the City of Greater Dandenong, Cardinia Shire and City of Casey.
