Reconnect
Reconnect is an early intervention program which aims to prevent youth homelessness that may be caused by family conflict. The program aims to engage young people who are at risk of homelessness or who have recently become homeless and to link them with housing, vocational, educational and recreational programs to remain connected to their families and communities. Potential homelessness in young people is generally a response to family breakdown or family conflict; therefore Reconnect works with young people in the context of their families, with the ultimate aim of family reunification wherever possible.
