  1. About This Service

    Monash Health Community, Brain Injury Services is a skills development and community access program for adults aged between 18 and 64 years with a mild to moderate acquired brain injury and living within the southern metropolitan region of Melbourne.  It is funded by the Victorian Department of Human Services.

    The program is also the auspice to Assisted Community Living (ACL) Packages as well as carers packages and Behaviour Intervension Services (BIS) packages in the southern metroplitan region.

      • Eligibility Criteria

        You can apply if: • You have a diagnosis of Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) • You are aged between 18 and 64 years • Live in one of these local council areas: Bayside, Casey, Cardinia, Frankston, Glen Eira, Greater Dandenong, Kingston, Mornington Peninsula, Port Phillip or Stonnington • Have mild to moderate support needs • You are interested in and are willing to talk about your needs for living independently in the community • Require information about developing your skills. You are not entitled to these services if you are receiving, or have received, compensation for your injury.
