Emergency Support team

  1. About This Service

Emerald Emergency Support Team (EST) is a community-led and designed recovery and resilience group that is available to provide leadership and support to the people of Emerald during the period directly following an emergency or major bushfire event in our region. EST does not replace existing emergency response activities; the objective is to play a key role in Emerald’s recovery and resilience-building efforts both before and after a disaster. EST consists of trained and prepared volunteers.
